Every Dollar Saved is Pure Profit, It's that Simple
…
Cost Containment Specialists (CCS) saves companies
money, period. Our effective process and pre-negotiated
prices with local, regional and national suppliers give
us the ability to offer savings of typically 10%-30%.
We provide our clients with a risk free objective review
of their expense categories. Think of us as your second
pair of eyes. Behind these eyes are procurement professionals
who capture long-term savings for their clients.
For organizations serious
about reducing costs…
Q: Will the CCS process add additional work
for my associates and me?
A: Not
at all! CCS does all the work behind the scenes while
you are focusing on your core business activities. Once
CCS gathers all the necessary data and supplier information
we get busy. At the end of our analysis, we present
the cost savings that we were able to obtain. Basically,
its business as usual when you work with CCS.
Q: What do you mean by the CCS process being
“risk free?”
A: Our
process is risk free from the standpoint that we share
in the savings with our clients. Furthermore, our process
poses no risk to our clients because in the end, they
choose what gets implemented and what doesn’t.
No savings – No fees.

Q: How are savings determined?
A: By the
ACTUAL savings generated! We do not share in projected
savings. Our process begins by benchmarking your current
spend categories. We determine what you are paying now
and what you will be paying after our negotiations with
suppliers. Actual savings are determined by tracking
your actual spend over a two-year period.
Q: Why do you think CCS can be more effective
than our company in reducing costs?
A: Because
we do it everyday. We analyze the same indirect spend
categories with many of the same suppliers on a daily
basis. More importantly, we obtain better pre-negotiated
pricing because of the collective group purchasing aggregation power
through our affiliate network. As such, your organization
can achieve much of the same pricing advantage as Fortune
500 companies enjoy.

Q: Why can’t we do this in house?
A: You
can, but what often happens is that the project never
gets fully completed and new vendors or pricing structures
with current vendors are seldom implemented. We will
complete our review and assist with implementation in
six to eight weeks including auditing price structures
and service for two years. Additionally, you will
not obtain the price structures that we will because
of the significant buying power from the hundreds of
local, regional and national supplier networks and clients
we have negotiated since 1998.
Q: We appreciate our vendors. How do we keep from upsetting them during this process?
A: We understand
this and do not want to upset them either. However,
how do you really know you are receiving the most competitive
price/service? All current vendors are asked to review
their pricing structures and given every opportunity
to become more competitive. Current vendors often reduce
their pricing considering the opportunities we can bring
them with our other clients. Therefore, our organization validates your perceptions or offers you the opportunity of the best price/service available
Q: What happens if we do not like your recommendations?
A: Generally
this only occurs when we have recommended a new vendor
and the savings is not significant. Our agreement states
you are not obligated to implement any of our recommendations.
Q: What if our savings is not as high as you
stated in your initial study and report?
A: Sometimes
at the end of the first year the savings may not be
as high as initially expected but sometimes it is higher.
This is due to your actual purchases, which depends
on your business activity levels. Our fee is based on
the savings from your actual purchases.
